Linen
Linen is made from flax. Most linen carpeting is produced in France and Belgium and the latter is generally considered the better quality.
Linen carpet is glossy and is great for use in tropical areas as it absorbs humidity. It is a beautiful fibre for blending with other natural fibres especially when mixed with wool creating a perfect partnership. Some of the benefits of linen are that it is allergy-free, absorbs humidity and allows the skin to breathe, antistatic, antibacterial and low elasticity.
